InvestLinc Private Equity Fund III LP of Schaumburg, Ill., is raising $25 million through a private placement of limited partnership interests. A minimum investment of $250,000 is required on the placement. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $1 million from two accredited investors. The partnership, which is engaged in the financing of emerging growth companies, intends to use the proceeds from the offering for investment programs.

Legends Fund LP of Denver is raising $25 million through a private placement of limited partnership interests. There is a minimum investment of $50,000 required. Bornhoft Group Securities Corp. of Denver is acting as the agent on the placement for an undisclosed fee. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $6.16 million from 26 accredited investors. The fund, formed to invest in investment partnerships, intends to use proceeds from the offering to invest in and trade securities and futures.

Haley Associates LP of Omaha is raising $14.22 million through a private placement of limited partnership interests. There is a minimum investment of $5,000 required. Haley Securities of Omaha is acting as the agent on the placement for a sales commission of $1.28 million. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised just about $5 million from 13 accredited investors. The LP, formed to serve as a limited partner in one or more limited partnerships that will own and operate one or more multi-family properties, intends to use proceeds from the offering for equity contributions to Olentangy Commons.

Brighton Opportunity Fund LP of Los Angeles is raising $10 million through a private placement of limited partnership interests. There is a minimum investment of $100,000 required on the placement. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $1.1 million from five accredited investors. The capital investment fund intends to use proceeds from the offering for working capital and investments.

Abrams Capital Partners LP of Boston raised $117.22 million from 103 accredited investors and four non-accredited investors through a private placement of limited liability membership interests. A minimum investment of $1 million was required on the placement. The LP, seeking to invest in securities and other financial investments for short- and long-term capital gains, intends to use the proceeds from the offering for working capital.

Pacific Strategic Investors LP of Houston raised $36.4 million from 13 accredited investors through a private placement of limited partnership interests. The investor in a diversified group of investment entities, including hedge funds and hedge fund entities, intends to use the proceeds from the offering for working capital and investments.
