Comments – Tamesis is a leading developer of trading software for investment banks and has been developing new solutions since its inception in 1994. The company has received over £2 million in funding from two UK investors, Baring English Growth Fund (BEGF) and Yorkshire Fund Managers.

Tamesis offers scalable and flexible solutions that provide easy migration platforms for e-commerce applications.

The investment will be used by the company to develop its infrastructure and increase its service levels to its customers. It is also looking to expand its customer base, and geographic reach.

James Tomlin, chief executive officer of Tamesis said: “Investment banks are looking to new technologies to derive genuine competitive advantage. This investment gives us the financial firepower to build our company to be able to satisfy that demand.”

Andrew Henton, an investment partner at BEGF said: “We support Tamesis because its technology works and it has a compelling value proposition to offer customers. The team has a long track record in successfully providing solutions to the leading investment banks, and the quality of the company’s customer base speaks for itself.”
