Joseph Stevens Biotechnology Fund LLC of New York has filed to raise $10 million through a private offering of LLC interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $1 million from four accredited investors. The minimum investment of $100,000 required on the placement can be waived. Joseph Stevens & Co Inc. and Paramount Capital Asset Management, both of New York, are helping to place the issue. The fund plans to make investments in private and publicly traded companies.

At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $15 million from three accredited investors. The fund plans to invest in private equity funds, private equity investment vehicles and securities of operating companies.
