5AM Ventures LLC in Menlo Park, Calif., raised an additional $25.4 million from seven accredited investors through a private placement of Limited Liability Company Membership Interests. This brings the total amount raised to $56.9 million. Most recently, the fund reported that it had raised $31.5 million from five accredited investors as of December 2002. The fund plans to engage in venture capital activities.

Lehman Brothers European Mezzanine Leveraged Partners 2003-A LP of Bermuda has filed to raise $608.9 million through a private offering of partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $6.1 million from one accredited investor. The fund plans to make mezzanine investments in European companies.

Pitango Venture Capital Fund IV LP of Herzliya, Israel has filed to raise $300 million through a private offering of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $173 million from 11 accredited investors.
