GE Capital MD moves to Hewitt EnnisKnupp

Ingram is now working as a partner at Hewitt EnnisKnupp, a unit of Aon Corp focused on investment consulting services to more than 450 clients in North America and assets of more than $2 trillion, according to his LinkedIn profile and a company spokeswoman

In his current role, Ingram helps develop the investment policy for Hewitt EnnisKnupp’s private equity and infrastructure clients, according to a biography from his new employer. He assists in developing pacing recommendations, strategy decisions, and ratings on investment managers; he also serves as a member of the global private equity investment committee.

Ingram recently worked as managing director, equity at GE Capital, where he oversaw the company’s private equity funds portfolio, according to his LinkedIn profile.

A spokesman for GE declined to comment. Ingram did not return a message on his voice mail from Buyouts.

Prior to GE, Ingram worked as a vice president at One Equity Partners, the private equity arm of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

He earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, a BBA in finance from the University of Michigan and also attended the London Business School.

In 2010, Hewitt Associates acquired Ennis Knupp & Associates, a specialty investment consulting firm. Also that year, Hewitt merged with a unit of Aon Corp, Aon Consulting, to create Aon Hewitt, a human resources consultant. Hewitt EnnisKnupp is now part of Aon Hewitt and includes professionals from the Aon, Hewitt and Ennis Knupp & Associates groups, according to a company description.
