Belgian firm GIMV has appointed Hansjörg Sage as partner and head of the information & communication technology team in German speaking countries.
Sage was formerly a director in 3i’s global venture capital team where he focused on
hardware-related early- and late-stage investments in European technology start-ups, mainly in the electronics, semiconductor and cleantech sectors. Prior to 3i he worked on technology investments in Europe and Israel at Lehman Brothers.
GIMV also unveiled two investment managers: Raffi Kamber and Johan Reynaert. Kamber will work out of the French office, drawing on his experience working for Bouygues Telecom, Thales and Autostar, whilst Reynaert will work out of the Antwerp office. He previously worked as an international business development manager at IMEC.
