ICV Capital Partners Reacquires Marshall Retail Group

Private investment firm ICV Capital Partners LLC said on Tuesday that it had acquired Marshall Retail Group, which operates resort and casino souvenir shops, for the second time.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ICV acquired Marshall in 2003 from its founding family and sold it two years later to private equity firm Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co.

“While it may on the surface appear slightly unusual, we believe that reacquiring this business, with which we are very familiar, provides a number of advantages that will allow us to begin immediately building Marshall’s growth trajectory,” Cory Mims, an ICV managing director, said in a statement.

Marshall operates more than 70 stores in places like Las Vegas and Atlantic City. It has three store formats: souvenirs and sundries, apparel and accessories, and Harley Davidson.
