Lake Capital expands London base

Lake Capital, the Chicago- and London-based private equity firm is strengthening its London team with the appointment of a vice president and associate.

J Duncan Grierson has joined the firm as vice president. He was most recently director with Galileo Partners in Paris and prior to that was a director with Thompson Clive and Partners.

Anthony Simler joins Lake Capital as an associate from the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he was an associate director in the leveraged finance group.

Lake Capital has also been expanding its Chicago office with associates Edward Kovas and Nicole Theall and analyst Jason Paru.

Chiarman and principal Terence Graunke said: “We have over $250 million of equity committed to our current global business service initiatives. Our new colleagues will play important roles as we build our current initiatives and develop new ones in the near future.”
