Green venture fund Low Carbon Accelerator (LCA) has invested a further £1.5m in Proven Energy, a UK maker of small scale wind turbines.
This latest investment takes LCA’s holding up to 81%, worth £9.25m.
The money raised will be used to enhance the company’s products ahead of the introduction of feed-in tariffs in 2010 and the rapid growth in sales that this is expected to bring.
