Johnathan Massey has joined UK regional private equity firm Zeus Private Equity as business development director in a move which will see him reunite with former Aberdeen Murray Johnstone colleagues Gary Tipper, Ed Fazakerley and Tony Dickin.
Massey worked with the three in 2003 where he was head of deal origination, and he joins Zeus from Leeds-based Spirit Capital Partners.
Prior to the Aberdeen Murray Johnstone role, he worked at Armstrong Craven where he provided private equity houses with research, recruitment and management due diligence services.
In his new role, he will assess investment opportunities for ZPE investors. He will leverage existing contracts in the advisory and intermediary communities. His time will be split between the Manchester, London and Bristol offices.
