Most interesting first-time funds

Throughout the year, Buyouts gathers intel about the most talked about emerging funds in the market from our networks of LPs and fundraisers.

Emerging managers, including first-timers, remain of interest even in the tough fundraising markets. In a recent Probitas Partners survey, 75% of 69 institutional investor respondents said they were interested in exploring new firm spin-outs. Only 2% of respondents had no interest in first-time funds.

Based on the numerous recommendations we get, here’s an ongoing and fluctuating list of the funds we’ve got our eyes on. Below is our most recent update to the chart since the summer, including names like Consello Capital, Citation Capital, Astira Capital, The Newcastle Network, Otro Capital and Whistler Capital.
