New face at Shore Capital

Arnaud Van Der Wyck has joined the team at Shore Capital, heading up the firm’s private placement business.

He joins from the technology team at UBS Warburg where he was responsible for continental European financial sponsor coverage, focusing on providing VCs with private placement opportunities and assisting their portfolio companies with exit opportunities. Prior to that, he spent over two years in the equity capital markets team working on continental European coverage and was responsible for the marketing and execution of IPOs, secondary offerings and privatisations.

In his current position, Van Der Wyck is closely involved in the investment decision process of Shore Capital’s GBP42.5 million fund, PUMA II. The fund invests in both quoted and unquoted companies in the technology, telecoms, property & construction, leisure and retail sectors.
