David Chamberlain has been appointed managing director of Zurich-based Palomar, which specialises in structuring and placing long-term alternative investment products, specifically private equity funds and credit-related securities, with institutional investors. Palomar also advises private equity fund managers and investors on secondary market placements of private equity interests. Chamberlain joins fellow partners George Tintor, Heinz Winzeler, Markus Kroll, Rolf Winzeler and Paul Kers. He will develop advisory and placement services around secondary interests in private equity. Prior to joining Palomar, Chamberlain spent over 16 years at Unigestion where, as managing director, he successfully built up a private equity fund-of-funds and advisory business, serving institutional and private investors across Europe.
Christian Geier and Jennifer Wu also join the firm as marketing executive and senior analyst, respectively.
