Robert W. Baird’s investment arm Baird Capital appointed Andy Tse a partner. Tse will help lead investments in Asia. Tse previously was a managing director at AIF Capital.
Blackstone Group named Joshua Pang a principal, according to Donnelley Financial Solutions’ Private Equity Report. Pang previously was a principal at BC Partners.
Comvest Partners hired Matt Gullen as a partner and member of the firm’s investment committee for PE strategy. Gullen previously was a principal on H.I.G. Capital’s LBO fund.
GenNx360 Capital Partners tapped Daphne Dufresne a managing partner. Dufresne had been a founding partner and managing director at RLJ Equity Partners.
H.I.G. Whitehorse appointed Kenneth Borton a managing director. Borton, who will be based in London, previously was a managing director responsible for credit opportunities business in EMEA at Citi.
J.W. Childs Associates added Joseph Fortunato as an operating partner. Fortunato, who has been involved with Childs portfolio companies, was previously president and CEO of GNC Holdings. He is currently executive chairman of Comoto Holdings, parent of Cycle Gear and Revzilla.com.
McNally Capital appointed Frank A. McGrew IV to lead its merchant-banking business. McGrew previously was a managing director in Raymond James’s investment-banking department.
Paine & Partners named Adam Fleiss managing director of portfolio performance. The appointment becomes effective January 23, 2017. Fleiss is a former director at KKR Capstone.
Pritzker Group Private Capital: Ryan Roberts joined as investment partner and co-head of the group’s growing services team. Most recently Roberts was a director on the technology, media and telecom services team for Madison Dearborn Partners.
Prospect Partners, a private equity firm focused on the smaller lower-middle market, promoted Brett Holcomb and Brad O’Dell to principals. Both came on board as vice presidents in 2009.
Shamrock Capital Advisors, an alternative-investment firm focused on middle-market media, entertainment and communications companies, named Brian Barnum an operating partner. Barnum has served as chief operating officer of Brighter Inc and chief financial officer/COO of Rubicon Project.
Swander Pace Capital appointed Robert Vassel a principal. He had most recently been vice president of corporate development focused on M&A for Clorox Co.
3i expanded its PE team with six hires: Frédéric Chiche is a director in the Paris office. Two joined in New York: Michael Kober as a senior associate and Manny Cominsky as an associate. The Frankfurt office added Piotr Doniec as a senior associate and Martin von Berg as an associate. And Philip De Vusser was named an associate in the Amsterdam office.
Time Warner Investments, which targets new opportunities in early to mid-stage companies that “generate strategic value for Time Warner’s businesses,” named Allison Goldberg senior vice president. Goldberg succeeds Rachel Lam, who will be leaving the company. Goldberg most recently was vice president and managing director at Time Warner Investments.
Twin Bridge Capital Partners hired Megan Condon and Daniel Quintana as associates. Cordon was a credit research associate at the Logan Circle Partners, affiliate of Fortress Investment Group, while Quintana was a senior analyst in strategy consulting for Aon Risk Solutions.
Waud Capital Partners named Andrew Rueff an operating partner. Rueff was president of M&A for the Atlanta transaction-processing company Nova.
ABRA Auto Body & Glass: The portfolio company of Hellman & Friedman named James Kessler chief operating officer, while Scott Krohn was promoted to chief process and quality officer. Toan Nguyen was named chief information and strategy officer.
Agilon Health, backed by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, named Ronald J. Kuerbitz CEO. Kuerbitz is a former CEO of Fresenius Medical Care North America. Agilon is a healthcare tech and services company.
AmeriLife, an annuity, life and health insurance marketing group, hired Scott R. Perry as CEO. Perry was chief business officer at CNO Financial Group in Chicago. AmeriLife is backed by J.C. Flowers & Co.
Big Outdoor LLC, a portfolio company of SunTx Capital Partners, named Bob Johns chief revenue officer. Johns previously was director of revenue management and strategy at Sensory Interactive. Big Outdoor is an out-of-home marketing and ad-sales company.
BV Investment Partners has invested in C-4 Analytics, the Saugus, Massachusetts, digital marketing firm. Justin Harrison, a BV principal, and Mike Ricciardelli, a member of BV’s operating advisory board, have been appointed to C-4 Analytics’ board.
Crossmark, a sales and marketing services company owned by Warburg Pincus, appointed Jami McDermid president of the sales agency. She joined Crossmark in October 2016 as chief client officer and a member of the executive leadership team. McDermid previously was chief business transformation officer at MillerCoors.
NHV Group, a Belgian helicopter-transport-services company, named Dominique Lafont executive chairman. Lafont is a senior adviser at KKR and BCG. NHV Group is backed by Ardian.
Pilgrim Quality Solutions, the Tampa, Florida, provider of management software and services for the life-sciences sector, hired George Penton as vice president of global services. Penton had been a consulting director at ScottMadden. Pilgrim is backed by Riverside Partners.
Telesoft, the Phoenix, Arizona, provider of communications expense and mobility management solutions, named Tamara Saunders chief financial officer and Don Luby senior vice president of sales. Charlotte Yates joins the board. Saunders is the former CFO of Telesphere and vice president of finance at Vonage. Luby recently served as vice president of sales at Tangoe. Telesoft is backed by Sumeru Equity Partners.
Crestone Capital, the Boulder, Colorado, wealth-management and investment-advisory firm, named Hull K. McKinnon chief financial officer and partner. McKinnon had been a general partner at venture firm Altira Group.
Orrick Rambaud Martel hired Guillaume Kessler, a French M&A and private equity adviser, as a partner for the law firm’s Paris office. Kessler previously was a managing partner at the Paris office and head of the Paris corporate group at Olswang.
Piper Jaffray named David D. Olson vice chairman of the financial institutions group. Olson is former chairman and CEO of River Branch Holdings.
Altamont Capital Partners promoted Kristin Johnson and Alex Rolfe to managing director. The San Francisco middle-market PE firm upped Melissa Francis, Sam Gaynor and Kevin Mason to principal and Greg Corkran to vice president.
Arsenal Capital Partners named Joseph M. Salley an operating partner for the specialty industrials group. Salley is former CEO of Milliken & Co.
Behrman Capital promoted Jeffrey Wu to partner. Wu first joined the firm as an associate in 2002.
Five Points Capital promoted Marshall C. White to partner. White has been with the lower-mid-market-focused PE firm since 2014. Previously, he was with American Capital.
Lariat Partners promoted Jason Urband to principal and Josh Sartisky to senior associate. Urband has 12 years and Sartisky six years of of M&A advisory and private equity investing experience.
Levine Leichtman Capital Partners promoted Paul Drury and Matthew Frankel to senior managing director. Drury joined the firm’s Chicago office in 2015 while Frankel came on board in 2010.
Summit Partners promoted Jay Pauley and Thomas Tarnowski to managing director. The alternative investment firm promoted Antony Clavel and Peter Francis to principal.
Sun Capital Partners promoted four executives to managing director: Daniel Florian, Jeremy Stone, Jared Wien and Todd Plosker (who will also head capital markets). Stone and Wien joined the firm in 2005 and Florian and Plosker in 2007.
Swander Pace Capital promoted Tyler Matlock to senior vice president and Tara Hyland to senior associate. Matlock joined Swander Pace in 2008 and Hyland in 2015.
TSG Consumer Partners promoted Dan Costello and Michael Layman to managing director. Costello joined in 2007 and Layman in 2009.
