PRIVATE EQUITY FIRMS

Adams Street Partners has named Saguna Malhotra as a partner and member of its primary investment team. Previously, Malhotra was a managing director of private equity for Stanford Management Company. Prior to that, she served as a vice president at Ripplewood Holdings.

Altamont Capital Partners has hired Todd Lachman as an operating partner. Previously, Lachman was global president of the Mars Petcare business.

Cleo Chang has joined American Century Investments as a senior vice president and head of alternative investments. Previously, Chang was the chief investment officer at Wilshire Funds Management.

Enlightenment Capital has added Matt Olsen to its advisory board. Olsen is the former director of the National Counterterrorism Center and former general counsel for the National Security Agency.

Robert Kaufman has joined FTV Capital as a vice president of communications and investor relations. Most recently, Kaufman led the investor relations team at The JBG Companies.

European growth equity firm Keensight Capital has named Alexandre Carrot as its chief financial officer and Guillaume Lefebvre as an associate. Carrot was previously deputy CFO and middle-office manager at LBO France. Lefebvre was previously an associate at Argos Soditic

Monomoy Capital Partners said that David Robbins has joined the firm as a managing director and head of credit strategies. Robbins was previously a managing director at H.I.G. Bayside Capital where he was responsible for leading investments in distressed debt.

Neuberger Berman has hired Kent Chen as managing director and leader of the firm’s private equity efforts in the Asia-Pacific region. Previously, Chen worked at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority where his positions included deputy chief representative of the company’s New York office and advisor to the executive director for China at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C.

Sorenson Capital has promoted LeGrand Lewis to managing director. Prior to joining Sorenson in 2008, Lewis worked for Bain & Company in Dallas.

Trilantic North America has named Charles Fleischmann as a partner. Previously, Fleischmann was a principal at Investcorp International Inc.

PORTFOLIO COMPANIES

BFP Wholesale Ltd, a portfolio company of ZIMT Partners, has named Bill Thurston its CEO. Thurston joins BFP from the Alshaya Group, where he was vice president of the Food Division.

Binswanger Enterprises LLC, a portfolio company of Grey Mountain Partners, has named Tim Curran as CEO. Previously, Curran served as senior vice president of U.S. operations for G&K Services. Based in Memphis, Binswanger Enterprises is a provider of architectural glass and aluminum products.

Payments platform provider Hyperwallet Systems Inc has hired Brent Warrington as its new chief executive officer. Previously, Warrington was CEO of FundsXpress, which was acquired by First Data. Hyperwallet is backed by Primus Capital.

Charlotte, N.C.-based Kure Corp, a provider of vaporizing pens, e-juices, and related accessories, has named Anthony Kennedy Shriver to its board of directors. Kure is backed by Siskey Capital.

Orchid Underwriters Insurance Agency LLC, a portfolio company of Gryphon Investors, has appointed Lynda Butler as chief financial officer. Previously, Butler worked at Nationwide Insurance where she served as CFO and vice president of its property and casualty division.

Pelican Products has named Stephan Corti president of its Commercial and Government Division and Bob Shortt president of its Consumer Division. Pelican is a portfolio company of Behrman Capital.

Pilgrim Quality Solutions, a portfolio company of Riverside Partners, has named Richard Lowrey CEO and member of its board. Lowrey succeeds Thierry Durand. He was previously executive vice president of Deltek Inc.

Medical technlogy company Q-Centrix, which is backed by Sterling Partners, has named Max Broedlow as chief financial officer. Previously, Broedlow worked at Strata Decision Technology LLC.

Houston-based Zenith Energy, a developer and operator of terminals that store and distribute petroleum, natural gas liquids and petrochemicals, has named Carlos Ruiz as chief financial officer and John Jessup as director of corporate development. Previously, Ruiz worked at Barclays Capital where he served as a managing director in the natural resources group. Jessup was previously a vice president at Riverstone Holdings. Zenith Energy is backed by Warburg Pincus.

Siteworx LLC, which is backed by RLH Equity Partners, has promoted President Ken Quaglio to CEO. Tim McLaughlin, founder of the digital agency, will transition to chairman of the Siteworx board effective June 1.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

Los Angeles-based AssetAvenue, an online lending platform for commercial real estate loans, has hired Varun Pathria as chief investment officer. Previously, Pathria worked at Colony Capital as senior vice president.

Investment firm Dynasty Financial Partners has hired Scott D. Welch as chief investment officer. Previously, Welch worked at UnconstrainedThought, which he founded. Prior to that, he was an executive vice president and chief investment officer at Fortigent LLC.

Evercore Wealth Management LLC has added two managing directors/wealth advisors: Darlene Marchesani and Kirsten Weisser. Marchesani was previously with Wilmington Trust Company, and Weisser was previously with Mechanics Bank.

International law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP has hired Stuart Brinkworth for its finance practice. Based in the firm’s London office, Brinkworth focuses on specialized transactions that include private equity-backed leveraged buyouts, management buyouts, corporate mergers and acquisitions and recapitalizations. Previously, Brinkworth was a partner at Hogan Lovells.

Golub Capital has hired Chip Cushman as a managing director in its middle-market lending group. Previously, Cushman was a managing director at GE Antares.

JM Search, an executive recruitment firm that works mostly with private equity and venture capital firms, has named Peter Flint as a partner. Previously, Flint served as a general partner for 11 years at Polaris Partners.

KeyBanc Capital Markets, the corporate and investment banking arm of Cleveland-based KeyCorp, has named Paul Griffin as a managing director for its financial sponsors investment banking group. Previously, Griffin worked at BMO Capital Markets where he served as a managing director in the technology investment banking group and head of software investment and corporate banking.

Leerink Partners has added four senior bankers and their teams to its newly launched office in Charlotte, N.C. All previously worked at Lazard Middle Market. Among those coming on board are Doug Brown, senior managing director, who will lead Leerink’s healthcare services and private equity franchises, and Mike Drendel, managing director, who will lead the specialty and generic pharmaceuticals franchise.

Dubai-based NEAH GES, which provides logistics, power generation and security management for energy and critical infrastructure assets, has appointed Stephen L. Norris to its advisory board. Currently, Norris is chairman of Stephen Norris Capital Partners. He is also a co-founder of the Carlyle Group.

Christina Park, a banker in leveraged finance at Barclays, is leaving for Nomura Holdings Inc in the United States, according to people familiar with the matter.

Sidley Austin LLP has hired Dan Clivner as co-managing partner of its Los Angeles office and a member of its mergers and acquisitions and private equity practices. Clivner was previously with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he worked as the Los Angeles managing partner since 1998.

William Blair & Co has appointed Jonathan Skinner to head its technology investment banking group. Skinner has been a partner at William Blair since 2008.

William Blair & Co has added three financial advisors to its Boston office: Barbara J. Cummings, Robert H. Kjellman and Carl J. (C.J.) Young. The executives were previously with Boston Private Wealth LLC.

European private equity firm GMT Communications Partners has promoted Jean-Sébastien Talbot to principal. Prior to joining GMT, Talbot worked at XAnge and TBWA\Paris

Longitude Capital has promoted Sandip K. Agarwala to managing director. Prior to joining Longitude in 2013, Agarwala worked at Auven Therapeutics where he served as a vice president.
