Dale Meyer has been named a partner at Probitas Partners. He will work out of the firm’s New York office. Previously, Meyer was managing director and group head of JPMorgan‘s Private Fund Group, where he developed and managed a global team dedicated to private equity fund raising and alternative investment partnerships.

Jean George has joined Advanced Technology Ventures (ATV) as a partner. She will be a member of the firm’s health-care investment team. George hails from BancBoston Ventures, where she was a director leading the firm’s health-care investment activity in emerging medical technologies. In related ATV news, Prabakar Sundarrajan and Ken Noonan have joined the firm as technology partners. Currently, Sundarrajan is CTO and executive vice president of strategic planning and corporate development at NetScaler, a global leader in developing high-performance Internet traffic management products. Noonan is a partner at L.E.K. Consulting, a global strategy consulting firm.

Patrick J. Boroian has signed on at Brockway Moran & Partners Inc. in Boca Raton, Fla. Most recently, he was a managing director at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners. He is also a former general partner at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette‘s venture capital affiliate, the Sprout Group.

Paul Gerling has joined Comerica Bank‘s Austin technology and life sciences division as a vice president. In that role, he will be responsible for generating new relationships with early- and late-stage technology companies. Prior to joining Comerica Bank, he was a partner with Sagebrook Technology Partners, where he focused on portfolio management and organizational development for the firm’s Austin office.
