Bill Arnold has been named chief financial officer of Neuberger Berman. He previously was with Citigroup, where he served as CFO of the firm’s global asset management and alternative investment businesses.

Brian Barnum has joined Mayfield Fund as an entrepreneur-in-residence. He is the former president of RH Donnelley Interactive.

Steve Bono, a former NFL quarterback, has joined Constellation Wealth Advisors as a principal in the firm’s Menlo Park, Calif. office.

Loren Boston has joined C.P. Eaton Partners as a managing director, and head of the firm’s global private equity fundraising business. He previously was managing director and global head of origination for Merrill Lynch’s private equity funds group.

Robert Brown has joined Advent International as a managing director and global head of limited partner services. He previously was a managing director with The Carlyle Group, focused on fundraising and investor relations.

Mike Callow has joined the London office of European tech advisory Clipperton Finance. He previously was with private equity firm Kennet Partners.

Neeraj Choubey has stepped down as a vice president with Venrock, in order to join Dell as general manager of the company’s tablets division. He had joined Venrock in 2006, before which he had been an associate with Bay Partners.

Adam Clemens and Greg Garrett have joined Portfolio Advisors as managing directors. Clemens previously was co-founder and president of New York Life Capital Partners, while Garrett was a partner with Adams Street Partners.

Barry Freeman has joined Summer Street Capital Partners as a health care advisory partner. Is the former head of healthcare services I-banking for Lazard Middle Market.

Brian Hong, a former associate with General Atlantic, has joined Longroad Asset Management.

Tony Horspool has joined Ropes & Gray as a London-based partner in the law firm’s bankruptcy and restructuring practice. He previously was with Weil, Gotshal & Manges.

David Istock has joined Cowen Group as a San Francisco-based senior professional focused on technology M&A. He previously was with UBS.

Rajesh Khanna has resigned as a managing director in charge of Warburg Pincus’s India operations. He reportedly will form his own firm and try to raise a private equity fund in excess of $250 million.

Loretta Lau has joined law firm Goodwin Procter as a Hong Kong-based corporate finance partner. She previously was with Mayer Brown.

Johan Leven has joined Barclays as co-head of Asia-Pacific corporate finance. He previously was with Goldman Sachs as co-head of Asia M&A (excluding Japan).

Shannon Lowry Nagle has joined Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP as a New York-based partner in the law firm’s bankruptcy and restructuring practice. She previously was a partner with O’Melveny and Myers LLP.

Curtis Mo has joined DLA Piper as a partner in the law firm’s Silicon Valley office. He previously was founding partner of the Palo Alto office of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP.

Mark Montgomery has joined Claritas Capital as the firm’s first entrepreneur-in-residence. He was co-founder of Echo, a Nashville, Tenn.-based digital media and services company acquired by IAC/Ticketmaster in 2007.

Frank Panaccio has joined health care advisory firm KBT as a partner. He previously was a vice president with Fidelity Ventures.

Mitch Petrick has agreed to join The Carlyle Group as head of the firm’s leveraged finance and mezzanine business in the U.S. and Europe. He previously ran trading operations for Morgan Stanley, before leaving in a management shakeup.

Johnny Randel has joined private equity advisory StepStone Group as chief financial officer and chief operating officer. He previously was with Citi Private Equity, and will work out of StepStone’s new office in New York City.

Jeff Roberts has joined Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP as a London-based partner, with a focus on international M&A, private equity and equity capital markets. He previously was with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

Sanjiv Sawhney has joined Citigroup as global head of fund services for the firm’s Securities and Fund Services business. He previously was with J.P. Morgan.

Jeffrey Schottler has joined Denver-based I-bank Headwaters MB as a managing director. He previously spent the past four years with Clearcreek Partners.

Olympus Capital has put David Shen in charge of its Asian operations. He previously had been running the firm’s Japan business.

Molly Simmons has stepped down as a managing director with Gemini Investors, in order to join Tonka Bay Equity Partners.

Charles Stiefel, former chairman and CEO of Stiefel Laboratories, has joined RoundTable Healthcare Partners as a senior advisor.

Terry Wetterman and John DiOrio have joined private equity placement agent BerchWood Partners as a vice president and analyst, respectively. Wetterman previously worked in the private equity funds group of Merrill Lynch, while DiOrio was with Monument Group.

Michael Volcker of Broadpoint Capital has been named head of the investment grade group in its debt capital markets unit. He joined the firm last July from Bank of America, and had been running Broadpoint’s preferred/hybrids unit within the debt capital markets division.
