? Issac Applbaum and Peter Moulds have joined Lightspeed Venture Partners as venture partners. Applbaum will help identify and pursue new investments in Israeli technology companies, while Moulds will counsel Lightspeed portfolio companies on sales strategies and business development. Applbaum is the founder and former CEO of Concorde Solutions Inc., a developer of applications that enable financial institutions to bring complex products to the Internet. Moulds was formerly vice president of worldwide sales for FreeGate Corp., a manufacturer of Internet servers for small businesses.

? Konrad Hilbers has been named Napster’s chief executive officer, where he will be responsible for overseeing Napster’s new membership-based service launch later this summer. Hilbers succeeds Hummer Winblad Partner Hank Barry, who has been the company’s interim CEO since May 2000. Barry will remain on Napster’s board of directors.

? Egidio G. Robertiello has been tapped to join The Blackstone Group’s Alternative Asset Management group as a managing director. Robertiello is the former president of Summit Fiduciary Services LLC.

? John Sordillo has been named a director with TD Capital Communications Partners. He was previously a managing director with E&Y Capital Advisors , where he primarily worked in the restructuring advisory business.

? Edwin Yeh was recently named vice president of technology at Dragon Venture Inc. Formerly a director of project management for the firm, Yeh will now be focusing on technical due diligence and refinement of business development for Dragon Venture’s existing and potential portfolio companies. He was previously a technical account manager for e-business management firm NetIQ Corp.
