Kleinwort Capital has appointed Philip Rattle as a director, bringing Kleinwort’s investment team up to nine. Rattle, 38, joins KCL from JP Morgan Partners.
He started his career at 3i in 1989 after graduating from Oxford University and joined JP Morgan Partners (then Chase Capital Partners) in 1998 where he was a partner, and created its European healthcare private equity practice. He has completed 50 deals including MBOs, development and replacement capital across a wide range of industrial sectors.
Rattle and Steven Clarke will jointly lead Kleinwort Capital’s investment team, focusing on UK deal origination and key advisor relationships.
