Aligned Asset Managers, a portfolio company of buyout firm GTCR, has appointed R. Barney Walker as its director of institutional investments. Walker was previously a senior vice president and director of institutional investments at Artio Global Management LLC, the former U.S. institutional asset management arm of Julius Baer Holdings.

Kai Warn has been appointed new president and CEO of Husqvarna Group. Hans Linnarson, who was appointed president and CEO in 2011, will continue to work for the group until he retires early 2014. Warn was previously an operations partner at private equity firm IK Investment Partners.

UK-based debt management company MoneyPlus Group has appointed Richard Elgott as commercial director. The company is backed by Palatine Private Equity.

Powerwave Technologies, a global supplier of end-to-end wireless technologies for communications networks, has entered into a financing agreement with P-Wave Holdings, an affiliate of The Gores Group. The company also announced the appointment of Khurram Sheikh as chief executive officer.

TSI Semiconductors has named three new executives: Roger Lee is now chief operating officer; David Bridgeford is chief financial officer; and John Doricko is vice president of sales and marketing and president of the company’s research and development subsidiary. In addition, the company announced that Michael Gontar, of Wafra Capital Partners Inc., will serve as its chairman.
