Altegris, which is owned by Aquiline Capital Partners LLC and Genstar Capital Management LLC, has named Jack L. Rivkin as chief investment officer. In his new role, Rivkin will oversee the firm’s research and investments group and join Altegris’ investment committee. Rivkin most recently was an executive adviser with Aquiline Capital. Based in La Jolla, California, Altegris is an alternative investment firm.

Boston Scientific Corp has named David Roux to its board of directors. Roux is a co-founder and senior director of buyout firm Silver Lake. Based in Natick, Mass., Boston Scientific is a maker of medical devices.

Findly, a portfolio company of Symphony Technology Group, has named Jeff Kreutz as senior vice president of products. Previously, Kreutz worked at MarketLive, where he served as senior vice president of products. Based in San Francisco, Findly is a talent platform.

Roland Foods, a portfolio company of Vestar Capital Partners, said Friday that it has named James Wagner as CEO. The appointment is effective immediately. Previously, Wagner worked at The Chefs’ Warehouse where he served as CEO. He replaces Charles E. Scheidt, chairman of Roland Foods, who will remain in this post. Based in New York City, Roland Foods is an importer of specialty food products from more than 40 countries.

Sam Edelman Apparel, a new division within Kellwood, has named Leslie Singer as president. Singer previously worked at NYDJ. A designer of various fashion brands, Kellwood is a portfolio company of Sun Capital Partners.

Strauss Coffee said the company’s general shareholders approved the termination of Todd Morgan’s employment as CEO. Strauss said it will begin a “comprehensive and orderly process” to find its next CEO. Tomer Harpaz, executive vice president for business development, strategy and technologies at Strauss Group, was named interim manager of Strauss Coffee. Harpaz has served as a director of Strauss Coffee for the past three and a half years. TPG Capital owns a minority stake of Strauss and had sued in the Netherlands to block Morgan’s termination.

TherapeuticsMD has named Randall S. Stanicky to its board of directors. Stanicky is currently the managing director of global equity research at RBC Capital Markets. Based in Boca Raton, Florida, TherapeuticsMD is a women’s healthcare company.
