John B. Richards has been named CEO of Envision EMI, the educational programs provider. Most recently, he served as CEO of Gift Corp. He replaces Will Lynn, partner and executive vice president of mid-market growth capital investor Gryphon Investors, who remains as Envision EMI’s president. Lynn had been serving as interim CEO.

Valet Waste has added Steven Weilbach as one of its directors. Weilbach, based in San Francisco, is national head of multifamily for Cushman & Wakefield. Valet Waste is a portfolio company of private equity firm New Mountain Capital.

Marketing company ViSalus has appointed Paul Noack as president. Noack offers over 25 years’ experience in executive management, strategy, operations, and finance. Career highlights include launching Herbalife China as managing director Asia Pacific, more than a decade at The Walt Disney Co. and managing a private equity fund.

Justin Serrano has joined Weld North, an investment company backed by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., as a managing director. Serrano will be responsible for identifying and managing investments in education. He was most recently president of Kaplan K-12 and college prep programs at Kaplan Test Prep.
