New York-based Arsenal Capital Partners has promoted Eugene Gorbach to principal. The firm is focused on mid-market deals in specialty industrial and health care companies. Gorbach joined the firm in 2008.

The Carlyle Group has promoted 29 professionals to senior positions: nine to managing director and 20 to principal/director. The individuals work in Carlyle’s offices around the globe conducting buyout, growth capital, real asset and global market strategies transactions, as well as investor services activities.

Mid-market growth investor Century Park Capital Partners has promoted Guy Zaczepinski to partner. Zaczepinski was previously principal at the El Segundo, Calif.-based firm.

Cleary Gull’s investment banking group has promoted Ryan Olsta to managing director and Patrick Bremmer to vice president. In addition, the firm has added Matthew Pearson and Christopher Larsen to its investment banking team in the last six months.

Essex Woodlands, a health care-focused growth equity firm, has promoted five: Scott Barry and David Yang were promoted to managing director in Shanghai; Toby Sykes was promoted to partner and Evis Hursever to principal in the firm’s London office; and Tamara Elias was promoted to partner in New York.

Grey Mountain Partners has promoted Ben Ault to managing director. He joined the Boulder, Colo.-based private equity firm in 2004. Previously, he worked in the mergers and acquisitions group of Goldman Sachs.

Lower mid-market investor ICV Partners has promoted Zeena Rao to managing director. Rao joined ICV in 2001 as the firm’s fourth investment professional. She was named a vice president in 2010.

Leeds Equity Partners has promoted Christopher Mairs to vice president and Kevin Malone to senior associate. Mairs joined Leeds Equity in 2008 as an investment professional. Malone has been with the firm for two years, joining Leeds Equity as an associate. Leeds Equity is an education focused private equity shop based in New York.

Lovell Minnick Partners, an independent private equity firm providing buyout and growth capital to companies in the financial services industry, has promoted W. Bradford Armstrong to principal. Armstrong joined Lovell Minnick in 2009 from Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s financial institutions group, where he was an investment banking associate focused on transactions involving commercial and trust banks, asset managers and financial technology companies.

Ridgemont Equity Partners has promoted Kelly Brennan to vice president. Brennan joined the firm in 2010 and previously worked at Sterling Capital Management, a Charlotte, N.C.-based asset management firm.

TSG Consumer Partners LLC has promoted Blythe Jack and Robyn Lawrie Rutledge to managing directors and partners. Jack has spearheaded recent TSG investments in the color cosmetics and healthy food retail categories. Rutledge has led recent TSG investments in the health and wellness sectors.
