Mid-market private equity player Elysian Capital has appointed John Ransford to its Special Advisors Council and to the board of Elysian Capital’s first investment, English Landscapes.
Ransford is currently deputy chief executive of the Local Government Association (LGA) and board reporting officer for Local Government Employers (LGE) on pay, pensions, and service conditions solutions. Ransford has spent 35 years in local government and will be contributing to the development of English Landscapes in the provision of outsourced landscape and maintenance services to local authorities.
This is the third senior hire Elysian has made in the past two months. In September, Phil Grieves and Jack Jacovou joined the Elysian team.
