Rothschild makes double promotion

Paris-based asset management firm Edmond de Rothschild Capital Partners (ERCP) has made two promotions. Hervé Fonta has been made partner and Bertrand Demesse has been appointed investment manager.

Fonta joined ERCP in March 2005. He began his career with Arthur Andersen as a project leader in the transaction service department. Nine years ago he was hired by Chequers Capital as investment manager and was appointed investment manager at ERCP in 2005. In 2007 he was promoted to junior partner.

Demasse, who also joined ERCP in 2005, began his career in 2000 in the mergers and acquisitions department at Lazard where he was made an associate. In 2005 he was made an associate at ERCP and named vice president in September 2007.
