Global investment firm Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management has added three new staffers to its team. Juan Landazabal has been named global head of fixed income trading while Matt Montana is now head of equity trading Americas. Vincenzo Vedda has been tapped as deputy global head of equity trading.

Euro Pacific Canada has named Adam Adamou as managing director of investment banking. Adamou, who is based in Euro Pacific’s Toronto office, previously served as president and CEO of Transitive Digital Media Corp. With offices in Montréal, Vancouver and Tokyo, Euro Pacific Canada is a Canadian registered brokerage firm.

GE Antares Capital, a unit of GE Capital, has named Chip Cushman as a managing director in GE Antares’ New York City office. Previously, Cushman worked as a managing director at Oaktree Capital Management. GE Antares is a mid-market lender.

Law firm Goodwin Procter has named Jared G. Jensen as a partner in the firm’s private equity practice. Jensen, who is based in Goodwin Procter’s San Francisco office, previously served as senior corporate counsel at Amazon.com.

Imperial Capital International, a subsidiary of Imperial Capital Group, has beefed up its team in London with two new hires. Alan Pierce and Alex Gutiérrez Rubino have both been named senior vice president for the credit trading group. Previously, Previously, Pierce headed investment grade/cross-over corporate credit trading at BNP Paribas while Gutiérrez Rubino worked as a senior credit analyst and trader at Chalkhill Partners. Imperial Capital is an investment banking firm.

KeyBanc Capital Markets, the corporate and investment banking arm of Cleveland-based KeyCorp, has appointed Brian Hunnicutt as managing director in the debt capital markets and corporate syndications group. He will be responsible for the structuring and origination of loans for clients in the power, utilities and renewables and oil and gas industry groups, as well as providing additional support for other industry groups as needed.

Kugman Partners has named Alvin Carter Jr. as executive director. In his new position, Carter will focus on debt financing, capital investments and profit improvement strategies. Based in Lake Forest, Illinois, Kugman Partners is a financial advisory firm specializing in mid-market companies.

Maher Advisors, a global M&A advisory firm for the wine industry, has appointed investment banking veteran Rodney Clark as a principal and shareholder. Clark previously was managing director and head of consumer and retail investment banking at Canaccord Genuity.

Patrick White and Mark Solovy have joined Monroe Capital as managing directors. They will lead the firm’s national technology practice. Previously, Solovy was a managing director at Hercules Technology Growth Capital. White was a principal at H.I.G. WhiteHorse, where he was responsible for its direct lending activities in the western United States.

NXT Capital has expanded its new direct originations team by hiring David Gozdecki, James Clifton and Jeffrey Kurtzweil. The direct originations team sources senior secured, stretch, unitranche and 2nd lien cash flow solutions for non-sponsored middle market companies. Gozdecki was most recently an MD in the GE Capital’s corporate finance group, while Clifton was previously a vice president at GE Capital. Kurtzweil was most recently a vice president in GE Capital’s senior secured loan program.

Perella Weinberg Partners has appointed Ryan Moss as a partner in its advisory business. Moss will focus on providing strategic and financial advice to clients in the natural resources sector.

Global law firm Proskauer has named Yong Ren as a partner at the firm’s private investment funds group in Beijing. Previously, Ren worked at Mayer Brown, where he focused on private equity, hedge funds, funds of funds, venture capital, distressed opportunities, mezzanine and real estate firms in the U.S., Asia and Europe.

Strategic Wealth Partners has added Scott Smith to its team of investment advisers. Previously, Smith worked at Accretive Solutions. Based in Deerfield, Illinois, Strategic Wealth Partners is an investment firm for high-net worth individuals, families and institutions.

U.S. law firm Stroock & Stroock & Lavan has appointed Tram N. Nguyen as a partner in the firm’s private funds practice group. Nguyen is resident in Stroock’s Washington, D.C., office. She joins from the Securities and Exchange Commission, where most recently she was chief of the private funds branch of the SEC’s division of investment management.

Global advisory firm WE Family Offices has appointed three industry experts to its team of professionals. Bruce Arella will join the firm as a partner and head of real estate investing and will be responsible for serving U.S.-based clients. Joseph Kellogg and Elaine King are joining the Miami office.
