Single Temperiertechnik sold

Mid-market German buyout fund Halder, French firm Finadvance and GIMV have sold their stakes in Single Temperiertechnik for an undisclosed sum to Looser Holding, a Swiss industrial company. Acquired in 2000, the three private equity funds bought the German manufacturer of temperature control systems in a secondary buyout from Permira, which acquired Single in 1997.

Single has been around for 40 years and is based in Hocdorf, near Stuttgart. In 2004, it reported a €24m turnover and since 2000 has increased the number of employees from 80 to 100, as well as moving to a new purpose-built factory and office.
