Court Square Capital Partners, the New York-based private equity firm, is to acquire CompuCom Systems, a Dallas-headquartered IT solutions business, for $504 million. The company is being sold by Platinum Equity, which bought it in October 2004 for $254 million.

Elevation Partners has agreed to acquire SDI Media Group, a subtitling and language dubbing service, from Warburg Pincus. Financial details were undisclosed.

Landmark Communications Inc. has acquired Digital Envoy Inc., a Norcross, Ga.–based provider of IP intelligence and geolocation technology. No financial terms were disclosed. Digital Envoy had raised around $13 million in VC funding since 2001, from firms like Cordova Ventures, Crossbow Ventures, Frontier Capital, H&Q Asia Pacific, Siemens Venture Capital and Time Warner.

McKesson Corp. (NYSE: MCK) has agreed to acquire Awarix Inc., a Birmingham, Ala.–based developer of patient care visibility systems that are designed to indentify delays and improve hospital waiting times. No financial terms were disclosed. Awarix raised $3.5 million last year from New Capital Partners and Stonehenge Capital.

SunGard has agreed to acquire VeriCenter Inc., a Houston, Texas-based provider of managed services, application hosting and IT infrastructure outsourcing. No financial terms were disclosed. SunGard was acquired in 2005 by seven private equity firms, while VeriCenter has raised about $24 million in VC funding from BMC Software, Broadband Venture Partners, Intel Capital and Pharos Capital Group.
