Transitions: Indosuez Capital Hires New Sr. VP –

New York-based Indosuez Capital this month has appointed David Hasse as its new senior vice president of the merchant banking group.

“I’m very excited to be here,” “The middle market is an area currently under served by traditional Wall Street financing sources and this represents an incredible opportunity on the financing and investment side. There is certainly not a dearth of deal flow here.”

Prior to joining Indosuez, Hasse served as vice president in the High Yield Leverage Finance Group at Chase Securities. He will report to Ken Kencel, co-head of Indosuez Capital and his duties will include originating and structuring acquisition financing in conjunction with middle-market buyouts, including structuring and reviewing mezzanine and equity investments.

In a statement, Kencel said, “David’s background in high yield and leveraged finance will be a tremendous addition to out team. With an increasing capital commitment from our parent, Credit Agricole Indosuez, and a strong franchise in our core merchant banking and asset management business, we are well-positioned for continued growth.”

Indosuez Capital is the U.S. merchant banking and asset arm of Credit Agricole Indosuez and invests in middle-market leveraged transactions.
