GTCR Golder Rauner LLC portfolio company Graceway Pharmaceuticals will sell its U.S. and Canadian assets to Galderma. As part of the deal, Graceway will seek authority to sell its assets under the United States Bankruptcy Code. Galderma is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on dermatology. Terms of the acquisition were not released.

A Seoul court ruled that Dallas-based buyout firm Lone Star was guilty of manipulating stock prices in connection with a Korea Exchange Bank unit, Reuters reported. The ruling is in connection to Lone Star’s proposed deal to sell 51 percent of KEB to Hana Financial Group for $4.1 billion.

Oaktree Capital has presented a debt restructuring plan for Spanish doughnut maker Panrico, Reuters reported. The plan includes a write-down on Panrico’s loans, to €60 million ($79 million) from €350 million. Another €115 million would be written off completely, and Oaktree would put €105 million euro into the company to keep business running, Reuters wrote.

Sun Capital Partners portfolio company Friendly’s, the restaurant chain known for its ice cream sundaes and burgers, filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, as the sluggish economy and slowing consumer spending claimed another restaurant chain. As part of the filing, Friendly’s will enter a sale process with an affiliate of Sun Capital as the lead or “stalking horse” bidder to quickly restructure the company. Friendly’s said it received a commitment for about $70 million in financing, which, along with the company’s cash flow, will provide the working capital necessary to meet its ongoing obligations during the restructuring.

Sun Capital Partners portfolio company Real Mex Restaurants, said it has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. GE Capital has committed to fund a $49 million DIP loan for Real Mex. Cypress, Calif.-based Real Mex said it’s also exploring a deal to sell all of its assets. Real Mex owns El Torito Restaurants, Acapulco Mexican Restaurants, Chevys Fresh Mex, Sinigual Restaurants as well as Las Brisas Restaurant in Laguna Beach.
