Wilcock resigns from Quester

Iain Wilcock, the deputy managing director of Quester, is leaving the firm for personal reasons after more than six years.

He will hand over his healthcare responsibilities to Dr Jonathan Gee.

“Iain has made a tremendous contribution to Quester. He joined the business when we had less than £30m under management and has been responsible for the establishment of Quester’s healthcare investment business, which represent approximately 1/3rd of our portfolio. In addition, he founded Quester’s university seed fund activities. We are sad to see him leave.” said Andrew Holmes chairman of Quester.

Wilcock said: “Quester is now an established early stage healthcare investor – profitable trade exits such as Sterix, PowderMed and Glycart; the acquisition of Avidex by Medigene AG; and the floatation of Oxonica demonstrate our healthcare expertise.”
