Bain Capital Insurance racks up $1.15bn for debut PE fund

Bain Capital Insurance, the insurance investing business of Bain Capital, has closed its inaugural private equity fund at $1.15 billion, beating its $750 million target.

Bain Capital Insurance Fund LP’s investors include institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals and families.

The fund is focused on middle-market transactions in North America and Europe across the entire insurance value chain.
