Chart of the week: Changes in median compensation (salary+bonus+carry), 2007-2013

The continued upward trend in compensation is largely the result of a more favorable private equity environment following the 2007-2009 Great Recession with higher levels of fund-raising, deal-making and M&A exits. (For a PDF version of the chart, click the link at right.)
