PRESS RELEASE

ROWAYTON, Conn., April 20, 2021 – Eaton Partners, one of the largest placement agents and financial advisory firms and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF), is pleased to have been one of the placement agents who worked with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (“CIP”) to raise a total of €7 billion in commitments for Copenhagen Infrastructure IV (“CI IV”). This is the largest dedicated greenfield renewable energy fund globally. The oversubscribed fund reached its initial target size of €5.5 billion in December 2020 and is expected to invest in greenfield renewable energy infrastructure projects with total CAPEX in excess of €14 billion.

CIP is a fund management company focused on energy infrastructure, including offshore wind, onshore wind, solar PV, biomass and energy-from-waste, transmission and distribution, and other energy assets like reserve capacity and storage. With the establishment of CI IV, CIP’s total portfolio of renewables investments is estimated to reduce the equivalent of approximately 10-11 million tons of CO2 and sustainably power approximately 5-6 million households each year across the globe.

“It has been our great pleasure to have continued our work with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners on the very successful and historic CI IV fundraise,” said Steve Eaton, Partner at Eaton Partners. “We provide our sincere congratulations to the entire CIP organization for becoming a true global leader in renewable energy infrastructure investments since their founding nearly a decade ago.”

“Thank you to Eaton Partners for helping the CIP team reach its final close less than one year after we started fundraising,” said Steen Lønberg Jørgensen, Partner at CIP. “In addition to reaching our target goal ahead of schedule, Eaton (and our other advisors) helped us attract a diverse group of new investors who share our passion for renewable energy investments and high ESG standards.”
