CVC wraps up ninth fund at 26bn euros

CVC's previous fund CVC Capital Partners VIII closed at 22.3 billion euros in 2020.

CVC Capital Partners has closed its ninth fund at 26 billion euros, beating its target of 25 billion euros.

CVC’s previous fund CVC Capital Partners VIII closed at 22.3 billion euros in 2020.

CVC Capital Partners IX’s investor base is comprised of returning and new institutional backers. The fund launched in January 2023.

On the fundraising, CVC Managing Partner Rob Lucas, said in a statement, “We are extremely grateful to our investors for their support during the Fund IX fundraising. Our consistent outperformance across multiple cycles has allowed us to build long-term relationships with the highest quality institutional investors.”

Currently, CVC has about 140 billion euros of assets under management. The firm has a network of 25 offices throughout Europe, Asia and the U.S.
