Greenbriar Equity Group has raised over $1.5 billion for its fifth fund, according to an SEC filing. The target is $1.6 billion. Based in Rye, New York, the private equity firm invests in a variety of sectors that include transportation, automotive, distribution and industrial equipment and components.
