LibreMax Capital has raised about $225 million for its structured opportunities fund. The fund will focus primarily on private asset-backed securities across the consumer, residential and commercial credit sectors. The New York-based asset manager specializes in structured products and corporate credit.

NEW YORK, October 5, 2021 – LibreMax Capital, LLC (“LibreMax”), an asset management firm specializing in structured products and corporate credit, today announced the successful closing of its fifth drawdown vehicle, LibreMax Structured Opportunities Partners I, LP (the “Structured Opportunities Fund” or the “Fund”), with total capital commitments of approximately $225 million.

The Structured Opportunities Fund will target investments that have unconventional asset pools or are created in less liquid forms. The Fund will focus primarily on private asset-backed securities across the consumer, residential and commercial credit sectors.
