New York City-based Apollo Global Management officially announced reaching the $12 billion mark on its Apollo Investment Fund VII LP during its latest quarterly earning call. The flagship fund raised $3.6 billion over the past quarter and declined to provide further details on fundraising targets.

Thomson Reuters, the publisher of Buyouts, tracked 39 deals in the first half of November that had U.S.-based financial sponsor involvement. Only three of these deals disclosed financial terms, raising an additional $974.7 million and pushing overall deal volume for 2013 to $132 billion.

The largest deal to be completed was the acquisition of the entire share capital of Greenway Medical Technologies Inc, a Carrollton, Ga.-based developer of medical software, for $20.35 per share in cash, or a total value of $643.95 million, by Vista Equity Partners LLC.

Townsquare Media LLC, a unit of Oaktree Capital Group LLC, agreed to acquire 53 radio stations owned by Cumulus Media Inc for an estimated $238 million in cash.
