Sycamore Partners LLC had the largest deal when it acquired the entire share capital of The Jones Group Inc, a New York-based manufacturer and wholesaler of apparel, for $15 in cash per share, including the assumption of an undisclosed amount in liabilities, in a leveraged buyout transaction that valued the company at almost $2.2 billion.
