Boston-based Advent secured another €900 million toward Advent International Global Private Equity VII LP, according to LBO Wire.  The fund currently has at €6.7 billion, which is within the €7 billion goal. The total so far is roughly $8.39 billion based on an exchange rate of €1 = $1.2517.

Other efforts adding to the total include Ares Corporate Opportunities Fund IV LP. The fund has closed at its $4.7 billion hard cap. In addition, Trilantic Capital Partners V (North America) LP had an interim close on about $923.1 million. It has a $2 billion goal.

Deal Front

There were 52 completed deals involving U.S.-based financial sponsors from Aug. 8 to 29, according to Buyouts publisher Thomson Reuters. The 10 with reported financial terms combined for about $2.2 billion. JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s One Equity Partners LLC acquired MModal Inc. from SAC Capital Advisors LLC’s SAC Private Capital Group LLC and other shareholders. The purchase of the developer of speech solutions software had a rank value of $1.1 billion.Year-to-date deal flow is now at $53.1 billion.
