New York State Common Retirement Fund (NYSCRF) has allocated $398.3 million to two buyout vehicles.

The pension committed $48.3 million to KSL Capital Partners CV II 3 and $350 million to Apollo Excelsior PE Co-Invest, according to a recent monthly transaction report.

Recent commitments from NYSCRF have focused on buyout and venture capital strategies across various sectors.

NYSCRF allocated 14.73 percent of its total portfolio to private equity, amounting to $35.69 billion in capital.
