OCERS makes $207.5m in PE commitments

Orange County Employees Retirement System revealed six new private equity commitments in its March meeting.

The Orange County Employees Retirement System has revealed six private equity commitments that together total $207.5 million in its latest board meeting.

The pension fund based in Santa Ana, California, made a variety of commitments, with $60 million going to Clearlake Capital Partners VIII, $50 million to TPG Healthcare Partners II and a $7.5 million commitment to Vega Co-Invest managed by Hg.

OCERS made three venture capital-focused commitments, with Spark Capital receiving two commitments: $16.7 million to Spark Capital VIII and $33.3 million to Spark Capital Growth V. On top of this, General Catalyst Group XII – Creation also received a $40 million commitment.
