Comments – Radio PLUS, Polands third largest commercial radio station, has secured €5.4 million in expansion capital. The funding was provided by Dresdner Kleinwort Capital, through its Emerging Europe Fund in partnership with the Catholic Church of Poland and the station’s founding investor Prokom Investments.

Headquarted in Nowy Sacz, Poland, Radio PLUS comprises of an advertising agency; a programming company and a platform of 25 local radio stations located in most of the major urban areas in Poland, including Warsaw. The radio broadcasts universal music and news programmes targeting the 25-45 year age group and addresses both local and national advertising markets.

Radio PLUS will use the investment to fund the development of the platform which operates under the Radio PLUS brand name and to acquire additional radio assets in the future.
