BNP names new PE head

Daphné Dussauge has been appointed head of corporate development at BNP Paribas Private Equity. She will be responsible for ensuring the development of the offering as well as the selection and distribution of private equity both in France and overseas. Working alongside François Petit-Jean, head of development, Dussauge will also contribute to the structure of the business, the investment vehicles and partnership agreements, as well as determining and implementing the business strategy.

Dussauge joined BNP Paribas at the beginning of 2006 as a fund manager in the real estate investment management division after spending three years as a consultant for Nordroy. A senior banker at Crédit Lyonnais for two years, in 1995 she became vice president of the corporate finance teams and subsequently the private equity teams at Union Bank of Switzerland in Paris.
