Bank of Scotland corporate banking has appointed a dedicated team to be based in Milton Keynes. The new office, which will serve companies in the mid to large corporate market (£10 million plus turnover) in Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire, is headed by director Steve Harris.
Harris has been part of BoS’ corporate banking team for the last ten years. Stephen Gillies will work alongside Harris as associate director. Gillies has been with BoS for 12 years concentrating firstly on small and medium-sized companies within the business banking division where he played a key part in developing the Edinburgh team’s client portfolio, particularly within the leisure sector.
BoS is seeking to achieve an even greater depth of penetration in this area of the corporate market through broadening its exposure to re-bankings, M&A, equity release, capital expenditure and expansion finance.
