Bridgepoint buys Polish rail logistics business

Bridgepoint has acquired CTL Logistics, a Polish rail logistics company, for an undisclosed sum.

ING and Commerzbank provided debt. Bridgepoint was advised by Rothschild, Ernst & Young, LEK, Clifford Chance, Interfleet, DTZ, AON and ERM.

Founded in 1992, CTL provides rail transportation, freight forwarding, siding management and waste disposal. The business has more than 2,500 employees and 2006 revenues of PLN1.112bn (US$446m).

Bridgepoint also announced the completion of a €290m refinancing of A-Katsastus Group, a Finnish vehicle inspection business acquired in January 2006.
