Brookfield appoints five

Toronto-headquartered Brookfield Asset Management has made five senior vice president appointments to its group managing its global private equity institutional relationships.

The newly appointed will be joining the team headed by London-based Leo van den Thillart.

The five senior vice president appointments include: Peter Thomson in charge of the UK and Middle East, Robert von Herrmann leading Continental Europe, Paul Tam covering Asia, Alexander Apponyi in charge of Scandinavia and Scott E. White who will be based in New York.

With over US$80bn of assets under management, Brookfield focuses on property, power and infrastructure assets.
