Close Bros opens Warsaw office

London-headquartered independent financial advisers Close Brothers Corporate Finance (CBCF) has hired Tod Kersten as managing director to head up its newly opened Warsaw office.

Kersten joins CBCF from Lazard where he was responsible for the firm’s Central and Eastern European (CEE) business. He has lived and worked in CEE since 1990 and has significant transactional experience in the region.

Prior to CBCF, he was US Treasury Advisor to the Polish minister of finance in the mid-nighties.

With offices in Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain and Poland, CBCF employs over 200 staff.
