Feddersen resigns

Having reached retirement age professor Dieter Feddersen has resigned as chairman of the supervisory board of Deutsche Beteiligungs. He will leave his office with the conclusion of the company’s annual meeting on March 18, 2004. Professor Feddersen has served on the group’s supervisory board for six years. The board has elected professor Feddersen, an attorney and retired partner of White & Case, as its chairman following his initial election by the company’s shareholders at the annual meeting on March 18, 1998.

The supervisory board has recommended the election of Andrew Richards, who was formerly the managing director of 3i Deutschland Gesellschaft fur Industriebeteiligungen until April 2002.
