Paul Fletcher is the new CEO of CDC Group plc, following in the footsteps of Alan Gillespie who leaves CDC on November 30.
Fletcher, appointed to CDC Group board in 2001, has been MD for CDC’s business in Africa since 2000 and has also been in charge of CDC’s industry sector groups.
He joined CDC from Citibank, where he was latterly responsible for global emerging markets strategy and planning following four years as general manager of Citibank’s operations in East Africa. (See news this issue.)
